Ned Howard, M.D.

Daniel S. Kessler, M.D.

Dr. Kessler is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist practicing general ophthalmology with a particular interest in small incision cataract surgery and the treatment of glaucoma and dry eye syndrome.  He joined Litchfield Hills Eye Physicians in 2010 after practicing in southern Connecticut since 2006.

Dr. Kessler received his undergraduate degree at U.C.L.A., where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and with Phi Beta Kappa distinction.  After receiving his medical degree from NYU School of Medicine, he completed his residency in the Department of Ophthalmology at Georgetown University.  After completing his ophthalmology residency, Dr. Kessler pursued advanced fellowship training in cornea at the University of Colorado.

Dr. Kessler is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the Connecticut Society of Eye Physicians.  

Dr. Kessler is an avid sports fan, and when he is not in the office, he can be found golfing, playing tennis or pickleball, and traveling.

Dr. Howard has been a Board Certified Ophthalmologist since 1996, when he joined Litchfield Hills Eye Physicians. He now practices medical ophthalmology with an emphasis on routine eye care and glaucoma treatment. 

Dr. Howard received his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. After receiving his medical degree from New York Medical College, he then completed his ophthalmology residency at New York University.

Dr. Howard is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Connecticut Society of Eye Physicians.

Dr. Howard enjoys cycling, golf, and photography in his free time.
